Talismanicgarments

Garments inscribed with symbols and
signs are made by special monks or spirit
doctors. These garments are believed to
protect the wearer from physical or
spiritual harm. Others may bring good luck
or keep ghosts away.

Shan/Burmese Soldiers used to wear such garments with
magical inscriptions into war as "SPIRITUAL ARMOR" .

Garments with inscribed "protctive spells" call "yantra" are also
